Hi, I’m Peter Piotrowski, a registered nurse with over 10 years of Emergency Room experience and a proud father. After caring for countless children in the ER, I’ve seen first hand how stressful and uncertain those first months at home can feel for new parents. Becoming a dad myself showed me that no matter how prepared you think you are, there’s no instruction manual handed to you when you leave the hospital.
Through my years in emergency and pediatric care, I’ve realized that many ER visits could be prevented with just a little guidance, reassurance, and practical knowledge. Parents often come in scared, unsure if what they’re seeing is normal or if their baby needs immediate care. That uncertainty is something no parent should have to face alone.
That’s why I created Cradle Confident — to give families the tools, education, and confidence to handle the everyday challenges of newborn care. My mission is to help parents feel calm, capable, and empowered, knowing when to act, when to call the pediatrician, and when everything is perfectly okay. Because confident parents raise safe, happy babies — and that’s what every family deserves
